Well done to the Falls Creek teams. I haven't been to the club for a while and would love to see the surnames of the team members included rather than just an initial. It would assist my memory of old friends and help people who weren't there or are new to the club and wanting to put names to faces. It is just a bit more inclusive to give the full name rather than cater for a select group in the know.

You've hit on a thorny issue. We try to balance privacy with sharing information about people in the club. Members don't all have the same position on where the best balance lies. It can be even trickier if children are involved. The committee took a decision a few years ago to avoid publishing surnames on the blog, unless it is for official things like office bearers or life members.
I regret that this may mean less enjoyment of good news stories like our great interclub race win.
